The World of Matter
Supposing there was a big explosion, in this world objects emitting special gravitational forces were formed. They affect matter in an attractive way, and among themselves affect in a repulsive way. As a result, divided that matter filled everything maximally compressed and distributed between such sources of gravity. These kinds of “planets” are placed very close to each other due to eternal squeezing and interaction (in the closest cases even to a possible "jump").
Jumping in one gravity field caused a sudden change in gravity, so the creature would fall into another gravity field. This jump in some cases was so quick that it might caused soft tissue tears.
Those evolutionary processes have produced creatures that can move between such “planets”, but they have lost dexterity and flexibility of muscles.
